Apollo.io Integration

Create personas from your Apollo contacts to enhance your training scenarios

Overview

The Apollo.io integration allows you to import your Apollo contacts and automatically create realistic buyer personas for your training scenarios.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • An Apollo.io account with call tasks assigned
  • Admin access to create personas in Syrenn

Connecting Apollo.io

  1. Navigate to the Integrations page
  2. Find Apollo.io in the integrations list
  3. Click on the Apollo.io card
  4. Click the "Connect button
  5. You'll be redirected to Apollo.io's authentication page
  6. Sign in with your Apollo.io account
  7. Review and grant the requested permissions
  8. You'll be redirected back to Syrenn
  9. Your Apollo.io account is now connected

Using the Integration

Importing Contacts

Once connected, you can import contacts:

  1. Navigate to the Personas page
  2. Click "Create New Persona" button
  3. Select Apollo in the list of CRM options
  4. Select contacts you want to import
  5. Confirm the import
  6. Personas will be created automatically from your contacts

ℹ️ Important: Only contacts associated with call tasks in your Apollo.io account will be available for import.

Troubleshooting

Connection Issues

Problem: Unable to connect Apollo.io

Solutions:

  • Ensure you're signed in to the correct Apollo.io account
  • Check that your Apollo.io account is active and has access
  • Verify your Apollo.io subscription includes API access
  • Clear browser cache and cookies
  • Try using a different browser
  • Check if browser extensions are blocking the connection

Import Issues

Problem: Cannot import contacts

Solutions:

  • Verify the integration is still connected
  • Check that you have contacts in your Apollo account
  • Ensure you granted all necessary permissions
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration
  • Verify your Apollo.io account has API access enabled
  • Check if there are any API rate limits or restrictions

Permission Errors

Problem: Missing permissions error

Solutions:

  • Reconnect the integration and grant all permissions
  • Check your Apollo.io account settings
  • Verify API access is enabled in your Apollo.io account
  • Review Apollo.io's API permissions and requirements
  • Contact Apollo.io support if API access issues persist

No Contacts Available

Problem: No contacts found to import

Solutions:

  • Ensure you have Call type Tasks in your Apollo.io account
  • Verify task visibility and access permissions in Apollo

Disconnecting Apollo.io

If you need to disconnect Apollo.io:

  1. Navigate to the Apollo.io Integration page
  2. Click "Disconnect" or toggle the connection off
  3. Confirm the disconnection
  4. Your Apollo.io account will no longer be connected

⚠️ Note: Disconnecting Apollo.io will not delete personas that were already created from Apollo contacts. You can manage those personas separately in the Personas section.
