Best Practices
1. Start Simple
Begin with basic conversation flows and add complexity:
- Core Path: Design the main conversation flow first
- Add Branches: Include alternative responses gradually
- Test Thoroughly: Ensure all paths work correctly
- Iterate: Improve based on testing and feedback
2. Realistic Conversations
Create conversations that feel authentic:
- Natural Language: Use realistic buyer language
- Appropriate Responses: Match responses to learner actions
- Consistent Character: Maintain buyer personality throughout
- Realistic Timing: Include appropriate pauses and flow
3. Learning Objectives
Design conversations that support training goals:
- Skill Focus: Target specific skills for improvement
- Progressive Difficulty: Build complexity gradually
- Multiple Scenarios: Create variations for different situations
- Feedback Integration: Include opportunities for learning
4. Testing and Refinement
Regularly test and improve your scenarios:
- Self-Testing: Run through scenarios yourself
- Team Feedback: Get input from your sales team
- Performance Analysis: Review how learners perform
- Continuous Improvement: Update based on results
